After Oppenheimer grossed 950 million dollars and received critical acclaim, the question is – what’s next for Christopher Nolan?
There are some rumors going around that he might be interested in James Bond.
On one hand, we can all imagine what Nolan’s James Bond can look like – dark, sophisticated, political, epic, and so on.
On the other hand, that’s exactly what the lost James Bond movies did! Skyfall (which was released in 2012 and grossed over 1 Billion) had lots of Dark Knight vibes, and the movies that came after were also pretty dark.
Which means that if Nolan will direct Bond, we’ll probably get something in the style of the recent Bond movies, and I won’t be surprised if the studio will want a new approach for the next Bond – much more light and fun.
Nolan recently said that he won’t do Bond, so maybe that’s it.
I hope that he will do another Sci-Fi epic. Some fans hope that he will make a sequel to Interstellar (from 2014) but for some reason, I don’t see Nolan doing any sequel right now.
In conclusion, I think we can’t be sure what will be his next mov(i)e.
One thing for sure – he can do whatever he wants to do, literally, and for most audiences – that’s already enough.
A new Christopher Nolan movie? That’s all I need!
