- What are some mindset tips you need to have when running a business?
- Don’t fall in love with best practices – know how to adjust them to your unique business needs, especially startups there are not built for best practices they are built to stretch and hack best practices
- Trust your gut feeling, even in areas you are less experienced
- Break down the impossible into simple tasks
- What are some of your favorite books or articles that have impacted the way you think?
It’s more specific people that inspire me than books and articles. A lot of documentaries or movies about how people that go through hardships overcome and excel. The last movie I saw was The Swimmers on Netflix.
- Who is someone who has really impacted your work? It can be a family member, friend mentor, public persona, etc.
Every CEO I worked for helped me become better, believe more in my capabilities, and helped me better understand my strengths and my weaknesses. But mostly my immediate family and friends that we had work relationships with.
- What are your thoughts on the future of technology and how it will impact business?
I think the talented people will remain talented and prosper, mediocre people might find technology a threat. But I also believe it won’t be in my lifetime that AI will take over; rather it will be an opportunity to increase efficiency.
