In this series, you’ll hear from CEOs, CTOs, and other thought leaders as they share their insights on everything from AI to Investing.
In this interview, we talk to Alexa Greenstein, Marketing Manager at Truvid.
What productivity tips have helped you significantly?
To optimize my creativity, I create clear plans and goals. When working towards something clear and mapping the route to this, it creates motivation to reach the set goal. Without clear goals, you might find yourself scattered, working on various tasks without making meaningful progress on any of them. Setting goals forces you to identify what’s most important and prioritize accordingly.
What are some mindset tips you need to have when running your work activities?
Resilience: Experiencing setbacks and failures, but view them as opportunities for learning and growth. A resilient mindset allows you to bounce back from setbacks and continue making progress.
Growth Mindset: Adopt a growth mindset, believing that your abilities and intelligence can be developed through effort and learning. This mindset encourages continuous improvement. Seeing things as a long-term goal maintains growth.
Not being afraid to make mistakes: Taking risks and making mistakes is a learning process. Embracing the mistake and recovering fosters growth in the workplace.
What are some of your favorite books or articles that have impacted the way you think?
I read TechCrunch, Calcalist, and start-up news-related articles to get inspired! The success in the Israeli start-up ecosystem is extraordinary, so I find inspiration there.
Who is someone who has really impacted your work? It can be a family member, friend, mentor, public persona, etc.
I was impacted by the people I was at university with. They were all driven, ambitious, and hungry to succeed. It instilled a drive in me to get where I want to be professionally.
What are your thoughts on the future of technology and how it will impact business?
The obvious at the moment is how AI will enable business practices to be effective. I think AI will facilitate good business decisions and support human business practices rather than overtake human nature.
I use AI such as chat GPT in my role now and benefit massively from it. It takes my efficiency levels to a new level!
Who would you love to have lunch with?
I would love to have lunch with top VC investors to ask them how they will come out of what has been a very difficult time for start-ups and VC firms. I would love to hear their strategy for maintaining their investment goals and staying positive through this tough time in the tech world!
