Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars are on the way, and the big question is – who will direct these movies?

Contents
1 – Jon Watts2 – Matt Shakman3 – Jon Favreau4 – Sam Raimi5 – The Russo Brothers6 – Shawn Levy7 – Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead

Recently director Destin Daniel Cretton (who directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) left Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, in order to focus on Shang-Chi 2, so both of these movies are without a director.

So, here are my picks!

1 – Jon Watts

Not only did he direct the last 3 Spider-Man movies that grossed nearly 4 billion dollars worldwide and received critical acclaim, he was also able to craft a great Live-action multiverse movie.

I’m talking of course about Spider-Man: No Way Home, which combined tons of multiverse characters in a satisfying way. I’m sure Marvel will want him!

The problem? I think he will want to direct the next Spider-Man movie, but, who knows?

2 – Matt Shakman

He directed WandaVision, and did it really well, with a very unique creative direction, as well as a very cool visual storytelling.

Not only that, he’s also working on Fantastic Four.

The main problem is that I think it will be too much for him to direct two huge Avengers movies back-to-back after Fantastic Four.

3 – Jon Favreau

The man who started the MCU with Iron-Man! This will be very poetic!

But now he’s very deep into Star Wars, so the odds are pretty low, but I hope it will happen because it will be incredible!

4 – Sam Raimi

Yes, the director of the original Spider-Man trilogy and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

That movie grossed nearly 1 billion dollars, and Sam Raimi has a very unique visual style.

And it was just announced that Michael Waldron (who wrote Loki and Doctor Strange 2, which Raimi directed) will write these two Avengers movies, so it makes even more sense!

5 – The Russo Brothers

Yes, they directed Captain America 2&3, and of course, the amazing Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame.

If Marvel can get them back, this will be a huge win.

The question is – can they?

6 – Shawn Levy

I think this is a very high possibility.

He’s now directing Deadpool 3, and this movie is going to be big, especially with the involvement of Hugh Jackman.

So, if this movie will be as good as Marvel hopes so, I’m pretty sure Shawn Levy will be a top contender!

7 – Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead

My favorite pick!

They directed the incredible Moon Knight show, and most recently, the astonishing second season of Loki!

Not only that, but they will direct the new Daredevil show!

They know how to craft creative visuals with great action sequences, epic atmosphere and cool cinematography.

And like the Russo Brothers, they’re a duo, so it’s already much easier.

These are my picks, and I hope we’ll know the answer soon!
