As Israel faces challenging times, marked by ongoing conflicts, shifting global opinions, and the complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian issue, it is essential to hear the voices of those who staunchly support the nation. We’ve engaged with passionate pro-Israel supporters to gain insight into their perspectives on a wide range of topics surrounding the conflict and the broader issues it raises.
These voices offer valuable insights into the multifaceted challenges faced by Israel and provide a platform to express their ideas on how to address these issues. In this piece, we interview Yoel Israel, Founder & CEO of Wadi Digital.
What are your thoughts on the press coverage and propaganda being circulated by the far left and pro-Palestinian groups during the ongoing conflict?
It does not surprise me. I went to Temple University in Philadelphia 19 years ago, and came as a Democrat and solidly on the Left. But I experienced extensive antisemitism, and have learned that all of them were on the Left and voted Democrat. Whether they were Islamists, Socialists, Communists, Marxists, or Woke.
How do you think leaders of Ivy League schools should respond or contribute to supporting Israel and promoting peace in the region?
I think they should continue to speak their truth and be openly Antisemitic. They have fooled the West and freedom lovers long enough. Honest, transparency will help Israel and the West know how to properly combat them.
Building a stronger and more self-sufficient Israel is a shared goal. What strategies or policies do you believe can help Israel become a powerful and influential nation like the United States?
Israel must immediately stop all aid from the United States. Israel must be independent and onshore all weapon development, including jets, satellites, supersonics weapons, etc. American and Israel would be better allies if we were on par and competed and traded weapons more. Codependency is unhealthy for both Israel and the US.
It’s an emotionally challenging time. How are you personally managing your mental health and coping with the stress brought on by the current situation in Israel?
Exercise, work, volunteer, prayer, and getting more sleep.
In your opinion, what immediate steps should the Israeli government take to address the ongoing crisis and work towards a resolution?
There are tragically no good options. The best option to maximize human rights in the area is for Israel to re-liberate Gaza, and incorporate it into Israel. Any resident who is not a terrorist can stay. Those who want to leave will be given a grant of $20,000 per family to leave and we will help them relocate. No one is forced out, terror will be removed, the residents of Gaza will have human rights.
To prevent future conflicts, what measures should Israel implement to ensure that similar incidents do not occur again?
In addition to my answer above about extending human rights to all of Gaza under the Israeli flag. Every Israeli must get armed. No one was armed, which is why so many people were brutally murdered, tortured, kidnapped, raped, beheaded, burned alive, and much worse.
Building a united and cohesive society is vital. How do you believe Israel can bridge divides and foster unity between those with differing political perspectives, particularly the so-called left and right?
Ironically, nothing unites the Left and Right in Israel than an existential war from worse than Nazi war criminals. We need to return to personal and national responsibility.
Educating Western civilization on the broader implications of radical Islam is crucial. What do you think should be done to convey that it’s not just an Israeli problem but an international issue? How can awareness be raised effectively?
With the exception of terror attacks on Jewish or Israeli targets abroad, Israel should not provide any intel about the terrorists in Western nations that voted against us in the UN.
The role of social media has been significant in shaping public opinion. How can Israel effectively combat misinformation and disinformation on these platforms?
Social media and Israel advocacy courses should be taught in 12th grade and in the army. It should be incorporated into basic training.
As an advocate for Israel, what key message would you like to convey to those who may be less informed about the situation in the region? How can you reach out effectively to raise awareness?
We need Birthright for non-Jews, to bring as many people to Israel as possible.
How can the Jewish diaspora and Jewish communities around the world contribute to supporting Israel and promoting a peaceful resolution to the conflict?
There is no peaceful resolution against Nazis. I wish that was not the case. The Jewish Diaspora needs to continue to Stand with Israel and support us morally, economically, politically, and boycott people who wish for the Nazi-like extermination of the Jewish people.
What do you believe is the most important message to convey to the world regarding Israel’s journey to peace and security amidst the ongoing challenges in the region?
Wherever Israel controls The Land there is peace, security and human rights. Wherever Islamists rule there is not.
