What are your thoughts on the press coverage and propaganda being circulated by the far left and pro-Palestinian groups during the ongoing conflict?
Nothing new.
For many years, the left and toxic media has been fueled by their ingrained hatred towards Jews and Israel with their insatiable desire for clicks and financial gain on the account of millions of innocent lives. Their deliberate ignorance of facts and rhetoric partly due to their lack of understanding the Middle East conflict with their antisemitic drive, only fuels the fires and has now gone global. It is clear their agenda is and always has been one-sided. Although we must stand up, fight back and defend ourselves, it is wiser to put on our time, energy and resources in places that bring light and positivity into the world.
How do you think leaders of Ivy League schools should respond or contribute to supporting Israel and promoting peace in the region?
If these institutions had a somewhat moral compass, their leadership would take a stand and ban all pro Palestinian and pro Hamas protests and encourage clean, civilized and unbiased conversation and dialogue. Sadly, it is sickening to see how so many college campuses have become a stage for spreading hatred and bigotry. Governments must also intervene as they are equally accountable and pull all funding wherever necessary.
Building a stronger and more self-sufficient Israel is a shared goal. What strategies or policies do you believe can help Israel become a powerful and influential nation like the United States?
Even though I don’t consider myself near the political scene, Israel must stand strong unapologetically and annihilate Hamas, as planned. No questions. No discussions. No excuses. No stalling. No ceasefires. Zero negotiations. – Action. And get it done. It goes without question that Iran at the top with all their proxies including IS Jihad, Hezbollah, Boko Haram and others will follow, it’s only a matter of time.
More importantly, we must learn to stay united regardless of our differences, especially after this war is over. The divisiveness between us needs to stop as it creates a constant lack of leadership and distrust in the system.
It’s an emotionally challenging time. How are you personally managing your mental health and coping with the stress brought on by the current situation in Israel?
These are very challenging times although it has taken its toll, we must stay positive and forward looking. Due to the needs, I volunteer trying to spread goodness, kindness and light into the world and move on. Thankfully, I only have LinkedIn and private groups and have no intention to have Instagram, TikTok, X or any of the platforms out there. State of mind is key.
In your opinion, what immediate steps should the Israeli government take to address the ongoing crisis and work towards a resolution?
Israel must have full sovereignty over the land. Period. Negotiating land for peace can never be on the table ever again. Separate the IDF from the government. Continue eliminating all threats on our doorsteps and increase security.
To prevent future conflicts, what measures should Israel implement to ensure that similar incidents do not occur again?
Our leadership must change. Conducting blame games will not get us anywhere. We need to be forward looking. Individuals from the private with strong character with public interest in mind first before their own are ideal candidates. Even though people like Nir Barkat, Erel Margalit and Fleur Hassan-Nahoum have differing opinions, these are good examples.
Politicians and their supporters who clearly denounce Israel and compromise our security must be removed from government immediately and prosecuted. Immediate removal of all anti Israel propaganda and hatred from all schools. All Palestanians with work permits and those with Israeli citizenship must go through security clearance to ensure they pose any threat. They can continue receiving benefits and are welcome to live, study and work here as long as they adhere to Israeli law.
Building a united and cohesive society is vital. How do you believe Israel can bridge divides and foster unity between those with differing political perspectives, particularly the so-called left and right?
Baby steps. First, all parties must learn how to listen to one another and communicate for the purpose of understanding. Our divisiveness is tragic and without respectful dialogue, no compromise will ever be made.
Educating Western civilization on the broader implications of radical Islam is crucial. What do you think should be done to convey that it’s not just an Israeli problem but an international issue? How can awareness be raised effectively?
Education and strong unapologetic advocacy.
The role of social media has been significant in shaping public opinion. How can Israel effectively combat misinformation and disinformation on these platforms?
We need more movers and shakers like Hillel Fuld and Yoseph Haddad to join this battle. The more light and good we bring to the world, the quicker we’ll be able to push the darkness away.
As an advocate for Israel, what key message would you like to convey to those who may be less informed about the situation in the region? How can you reach out effectively to raise awareness?
Educate yourselves and visit all sides to be better informed. Your moral compass will naturally guide you in the right direction.
How can the Jewish diaspora and Jewish communities around the world contribute to supporting Israel and promoting a peaceful resolution to the conflict?
Stand proud of who you are. Keep fighting back with facts and never back down from this war online and offline. More importantly, show your strength with unity.
What do you believe is the most important message to convey to the world regarding Israel’s journey to peace and security amidst the ongoing challenges in the region?
Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. Choose them wisely. And be patient with tolerance.
