People are asking me:

“What happened to Americans and Europeans, how is there even one pro-Palestine?”

I don’t have an answer.

But, I do have a thought exercise:

Let’s say you are a “liberalist”, whatever that means.

Then, your friend suddenly tells you that he is a Kangaroo.

So, you tell yourself: “Well, he is obviously not a Kangaroo, but it doesn’t hurt anyone if he thinks he is, so who cares?”

And then, you and your other friends acknowledge him as a Kangaroo.

Several months pass by.

You sit with the Kangaroo friend in a restaurant.

The Kangaroo friend is pissed, he doesn’t like the food, and when the waiter comes to ask how the meal is, the Kangaroo punches him hard, knocking him on the floor.

“What are you doing!?” You shout to your Kangaroo friend.

And your Kangaroo friend answers: “That is what Kangaroos do when they are pissed off, what do you expect me to do”.

You are shocked.

The other people eating at the restaurant are shocked.

Someone filmed it, it is going viral.

Then, you hear people in the media saying: “Well, Kangaroos are endangered species, if they don’t protect themselves, who will?”

Then, there is a formation of two groups:

1. One group believes that the most important thing is the freedom of Kangaroos.

2. The second group, who are in shock, are shouting: “What the f*ck is going on with you guys? He is not even a Kangaroo, he is a lunatic!”

Then, the first group starts gaslighting the second, telling them that he is in fact a Kangaroo.

Then, the Ivy League professors tell the second group, that he is in fact a kangaroo.

Then, more people from the second group start to ask themselves: “Maybe he is in fact a Kangaroo?”

And all this happens, while the waiter from the restaurant is on the floor, with his teeth scattered, shouting for someone to help him.

But nobody helps him.

Well, he is not a Kangaroo.

He is just a man, doing his job.

Because of men like him, Kangaroos get pissed.
